I'm happy that you would share with everyone, Mitchell. Some of those cat names aren't very common!
For olive oil, I use Kirkland brand for cooking and just about everything. But I can taste the difference with the Andalucian oil - it has a little peppery taste (very light) that makes it delicious for something like a caprese salad. I've had regular olive oil go rancid - you can smell it when you open the cap. Ewwww.
So interesting and I was with you until we got to "cats" as I've never sufficiently appreciated them. But two weeks ago, we stayed with friends who had 2 cats, and I couldn't believe how one of them wormed her way into my heart. So now I'm reconsidering my prejudice (brought on by family allergies).
Can't believe you rode a mule, if I understand correctly. Looking forward to reading some great short stories. Thanks as always for your engaging Friday newsletter.
I've never been a cat fan either. But my daughter has 2 cats, Pushkin and Moth and they are very entertaining. How did your friend's cat manage to sneak into your heart?
Thank you for the mule riding credit....I would ride a mule, but definitely not into the Grand Canyon. If I did that and wrote about it, it would be a horror story!
I love my Friday Unwind! You must work hours on it, Heather, finding all these varied interesting subjects. I would be as unwilling as you to ride those donkeys down the canyon. No thank you. I loved ( what I assume was) the typo in that section. It would surely FEEL like 5,000 miles.... ha ha! Your description of the olive oil, tomatoes, mozzarella planned my dinner for me. I am drooling all over my keyboard. I have watched Living two times. I have watched every movie Bill Nighy has ever made, with roles from aging rock star to Pirate Radio to an evil conniving father. ( Hint: Look for photos of him when he was a young man. He was deliciously handsome.) And I will definitely seek out Storyworthy. Thanks for another great issue.
Bill Nighy is on my must watch list, too. I admit, however, that it was only this morning that I realized that the 'y' in his last name is silent. I've been butchering it all these years! I haven't watched all of his movies....something that I aspire to do.
I'm so happy that you are enjoying Friday Unwind. I never know what's going to show up each week!

Thanks again for sharing you puzzle.
Happy Friday!

The cat was unobtrusive but gently and always around and gave me a look that said, "Come on... don't you want to rub my belly?'
So of course you did! 😻

Hope you have a wonderful weekend. 💚
Yes, pronounced just Nigh. I recommend Gideon's Daughter.
Thank you for the recommendation. I just looked it up. It sounds good.
