Hi Mitch. Hummers really can fly up to 50mph and food/territory is the goal. They eat their body weight (which, granted is miniscule!) every day. They weigh about the same as a nice marshmallow you might roast on an open fire!

Another informative and fun post, Heather. Thank you for the 1440 reference. I checked it out. I don't have a TV and despise news broadcasts. I don't believe anything I hear anymore. But this site seems to just report what "happened" without commentary. I might like that! I will send it to my brother, too.
