Oh, ha ha ha....I love our 'sound' words! I'd forgotten about Calvin and Hobbes - but yes, that's the sound! I don't know if I could have come up with DRK DRK DRK for the tongue popping noise. That's really good and imaginative! You should write word puzzles....oh wait.... you do!
I love your take on "Every stupid thing I've ever done had led me to this point." Isn't that the truth!
I agree. Seeing that room would be amazing. Hard to imagine he stayed hidden in there for 2 months. Who would ever have put two coats of plaster over those drawings?!
Neal Foard! Such a great story teller. Thanks for giving him to us today. Lovely cat faces, too. I have witnessed them all, but I am not exactly sure they correspond to what is going on the cats' minds. ha ha ha
Oh, you may be right, Sharron. I'm not a cat owner, but from what I hear, it's highly possible that the cats may be tricking us with those expressions! Cats are crafty!
Great read as always. The Michelangelo story is fascinating. I don’t love or know cats but I do know dogs and they have a lot of facial expressions too, or sometimes it’s an odd tilt of the head. Keep ‘em coming. Your newsletter continues to delight
Thank you, Jill. I loved the Michelangelo story too.
I've always been a dog person, too. I was surprised that there is research on expressions for cats, but not as much for dogs. I think that dogs are super expressive.

Happy Fantasy Football!
LOVE Neal Ford! And I hadn't seen that video yet, so what a wonderful bonus. Hilarious!
I use Bwaha all the time, actually, so thank for validating that. LOL And I would TOTALLY love to see that secret room!
I remember seeing you use Bwaha! I love it!
