All the Light We Cannot See! What a marvelous story. I finished the book and immediately read it again. I am so happy to hear there will be a film. Thanks Heather! As for Babylon? Just the trailer wore me out! Looks like they had a hell of a good time filming that. IDIOMS: I was a teacher of adult English as a Second language students for many many years- all beginners. In order to be understood by them I had to eradicate all idiomatic usages from my own speech. After all this time, I still rarely use them. They are, as you can imaging incomprehensible to new learners. I look forward to your rollicking Friday Unwind topics every week Heather. And, ahem, thanks for the recognition! I can use it!

A delightful read as always. I love "be late for something day." Talk about a holiday that fits me. Speaking of idioms, does "fits me to a T" make any sense to you? And yet I've used it.

Finally, I loved Anthony Doerr's book, "All the light you cannot see." It made me cry too. keep 'em coming. It's a great weekend read you provide
